I am writing on behalf of Grace’s Cricket Club – a London-based cricket club representing the gay community and competing in Division One of the Middlesex Sunday Cricket League.
Grace’s CC would like to offer you a message of support following your brave announcement last Friday. We all understand how difficult a step coming out is on a personal level, but for someone with such a high public profile in an area not renowned for its gay friendly credentials, it must have been particularly tough. Please be assured that you can count on our support, and that of all the many other sporting clubs within the gay community throughout the country.
